We are NOT all one

I am not one with George Bush, Sara Palin or Dick Cheney. Oneness is not all inclusive. Oneness on earth can only pertain to earthlings. Those who have a heart and a conscience. Bush, Cheney, and the likes of Palin are manufactured replicas of humans with no soul. How else could they accept the death and maiming, environmental damage directly connected to their policies and beliefs?

As the native American people's were SYSTEMATICALLY destroyed by smallpox on this continent of North America so goes the African people on the continent of Africa using AIDS. GULP! And WHY? For the resources, what else is there? The people are in the way, get rid of them. We are next, they are getting "rid" of us by enforcing mass poverty. I am one with YOU but not them. To me they are are extra terresrials devouring earth resources no matter the cost of lives as long as their own families stay safe.

No Inbetween

Young and old,
No in between,
The grandmothers of Africa,
Have no rest
With all they have seen,
Frail and filled with sorrow
Running out of tomorrow
They mourn the deaths
Of their sons and daughters
Teaching, feeding, cleaning
Fetching the day’s water.
For their grandchildren now
Who mourn too
For the parents
They never knew,
Lost to the virus, HIV
The grandmothers
Mothering once again,
With no certainty
That help will ever come
Or that they may also
Live to see
Their grandchildren succumb
To this pandemic disease.
For many of the medicines
They need
Are kept from them
By patent laws and greed
And when the elders die
You see the siblings cry
And carry on with the daily chores
Children now caring for children
Not theirs not yours,
When will we believe
That collective responsibility
For human suffering
Has everything to do with you and me
