Picking Olives In Lebanon

One can only take in so much of all the conspiracy videos out there! It is exhausting trying to get to the bottom of what is really happening globally. One gets led from such topics as depopulation, underground military bases and the theory of a hollow earth to concentration facilities being readied, chem-trails causing cancer and changing the weather to theories that the next big threat will be an extra-terrestrial one. This is for when people get tired of being scared of terrorism or terrorism starts sounding like communism and all the other fearisms,yawn! The list is as endless as the human imagination. I wonder, is checking in on fascist globalization & depopulation a crime yet, or a self incriminating trail, or both?

Still, I say everyone gets to make up their own mind from this vast library that is still available to us. But really the conspiracy is real, it is the one against us. And when it starts happening here we might just find the time to do some research and wake up. If the powers that be can go in and do what they did to Lebanon in 2006 without hardly a word about it, here in the US, then they can just as surely do it here. Remember, they own the media.



Picking Olives in Lebanon.

After the summer of 2006
The only way to pick olives
In Lebanon
Is one at a time
Harvesting them,
Very slowly and carefully
Between the cluster bombs.

After the summer of 2006
In Lebanon,
The only way to get fresh fish
Is to import it
For local fishing no longer exists
All that oil bombed into the sea
Has made of Lebanon’s coastal resort
A memory.

During the summer of 2006
The only way to live
Was to flee
While other people in comfortable settings
Ate olives and fresh fish and more
And slowly picked a destiny
One Lebanese destiny at a time
While the relentless bombing
Just kept on coming.

Before the summer of 2006
Children ran free along the beaches
Not yet knowing that Lebanon
Would be razed and ruined and gone
Covered in cluster bombs
And thousands of Lebanese
Would be limbless too
Their olives rotting on the vine
Waiting for a harvester
That could still climb.
