Reflections in the Pool of Democracy.

Is Obama a reflection of us, the people, this time? In my dreams he is, he does look like us, but remember Nancy Pelosi looked for a minute like us, then she looked very scared. Something hideous and unseen is creeping around the back stages of government. There are just so many questions: If he is elected and does not follow orders will he be assassinated? Has he been playing a clever mainstream trick to be a viable candidate and will then use his power to change everything for the better? If McCain "wins" will there be riots and cities burning all across this country? And if that does happen will it be the quiet lately Bush's opportunity to emerge and declare martial law and create for himself a dictatorship? Tomorrow is just another day out of millions of days on planet earth, and planet earth is but a spec in the universe. Hey I am rooting for planet earth, that is what gives me everything I could possibly need and a daily art exhibit to attend. I think we all need to learn how to astral travel and come back when the fighting is over.



Our World is a Rainbow...

But looking at the faces of
Our leaders
You would never know!
The reflection in the pool of
Our “democracy”
Is highly toxic autocracy!

Those who speak for us
Are not you and me,
They are not the norm,
They do not resemble us
In any way, shape or form.

Just look at them and you will find
These are not the faces of the people,
They look like rows of corn,
I can’t see your problems addressed,
Can you see mine?

If the powers that be
Would just listen intently
To the real needs of the people
And stop arming those they favor,
To kill on their behalf,
Then peace is possible.
They call themselves
Our representatives!
Please don't make me laugh!

And I will cry
Long and hard
Forever
If this election
Is stolen again.

And my soul will cry
For all eternity
If Obama turns out
To be one of them.

For what "They"
Have in store
For us
Is so evil
It looks righteous
So what's the fuss?
